Buyers should understand that listing agents do not represent their interests, and in fact are obligated to get the highest price possible for the seller... it is unwise to enter into a real estate transaction without a representative to assist you and get you the best deal... otherwise it is like getting divorced and allowing the attorney hired by your spouse to deal with the whole affair without you having your own attorney... would you do that? Then why would you go into one of the largest transactions an individual usually partakes in during their lifetime without someone who is experienced and can represent your interests professionally and sincerely, without conflict.
